This honey has a deeper amber coloring which is more typical of tree honeys. The flavor tastes of molasses and reminds us of gingerbread cookies.

Gorgeous white clustered spires of Buckeye bloom early in the spring. Trees are plentiful in the Sierra and Coastal mountain range foothills. Only under rare environmental conditions are honeybees able to produce this amazing honey. the first taste is light caramel that dissolves into a gentle malt.
