About the Producer:
Mieli Papagna was born in 1957 in Manfredonia. The family-run company has been breeding about 300 beehives for over sixty years and practicing nomadism. It operates mainly within the Gargano National Park and more extensively in the territory of the Puglia region and the neighboring regions, reaching rare and valuable nectariferous blooms present in fascinating and uncontaminated territories. Passion, love for nature, quality and tradition. These are the values that have distinguished them over the years, allowing them to perfect their products and always preserve the artisan and precious character of honey.
Starting from the work in the apiary, continuing with the extraction of honey from the honeycombs by cold centrifuge until packaging, they work to keep the product unchanged in its colors, aromas and flavors, ensuring better quality and certainty about the origin. Their mission is to spread the knowledge of honey in its many virtues, unique in its noble properties and fundamental in a balanced diet. Secondly, educating the consumer to distinguish pure and natural honey, produced entirely in Italy, from imported honeys which often are contaminated, devoid of their unique honey properties and sometimes harmful.
Their motto: directly from nature to our tables!
