Skirt Steak Dinner

2 large skirt steaks (~2.5 lbs)

Place the steaks in a Ziploc bag and add a teriyaki marinade to a Ziploc bag.  Remove the air from the bag, and refrigerate for 3 to 24 hours.  Once marinated, on a grill on high temperature, grill steaks 4 minutes per side.  A little char on the outside is okay.  

To make a marinade pan sauce after marinating, add the leftover marinade to a saucepan and cook on high until reduce by half.  To add some additional flavor and freshen the sauce, add a tablespoon of cooking sauce at the very end.  Serve on top of the steak and mashed potatoes. 

Garlic mashed potatoes 

Garnish with pickled beets or carrots
